Diablo 2 Hell Difficulty

Posted by admin

Ok, so as you all would know, this FAQ is designed to help you solve your Hell Difficulty woes in Diablo: Lord of Destruction. I will try to keep this FAQ somewhat general but I will go into character specifics for certain situations. I will also assume that you know the very basics of Diablo 2. Diablo Multiplayer always had Nightmare and Hell difficulties, but they required a character to have reached level 20 or 30. Now about the trick, if you have a high enough level multiplayer character you can create a Nightmare or Hell difficulty, leave, then create a new singleplayer game, which would now have that difficulty.

Lightning Sorc is a tough toon to get through hell unless you really play to your advantages. Insight Act 2 Merc and teleporting past 99% of monsters is the easiest.

Act 1/2 should just be teleporting and pushing through. Act 3, if you see gloams just start a new game and push on through.Once you beat Meph, you can either choose to continue to A4 and A5 or reroll to Blizz and farm hell Meph for a while with the moat trick.EDIT: You also have the option being a Light sorc to run Countess for keys/mid runes.

Are you on Single player, B.Net, Plugy? It all depends what you're wanting to do with your Sorc. If you want to just farm meph for a while to get some gear, pure blizz and moat trick will work. You could go BlizzBall or Meteorb as well. For myself on Plugy when I started I just wanted to get to Meph ASAP so I went pure blizzard and restarted whenever I ran into cold immune that needed to be killed.

Plus once you hit A3 Hell, you can reroll for LK if you're after runes (single player only for that one).
