It is a great choice if you have a large room with a wide seating arrangement, as the image remains accurate when viewed from the side. The B8 has a wide color gamut and can get decently bright in HDR displaying vivid colors and bright highlights. It has an almost instantaneous response time, so the image is crisp and fast-moving content has minimal blur. This can create some stutter in older content, which, however, you can remove using motion interpolation. The LG B8 is also very responsive thanks to the very low input lag, and this is great for gaming or for those times when you'll use the TV as a PC monitor.Unfortunately, OLED TVs run the risk of and the risk of, and so does the LG B8. This is more likely to occur if you display static images over a prolonged period.

The Vizio doesn't have the perfect blacks or the wide viewing angles of the OLEDs. It is, however, an excellent TV with impressive picture quality.
It performs very well both in a dark room, thanks to the high contrast ratio and very good local dimming support, and in a bright room, as it can get very bright. HDR content is full of saturated colors and highlights that pop, and motion handling is excellent. Overall, the Vizio has an excellent performance in most uses. Best Mid-Range 4k TV: Sony X900F.

It is the best 4k smart TV in the mid-range category that we've tested so far. You will not have the true blacks of the LG B8 or the wide viewing angles that OLEDs offer. On the upside, the picture quality is great and the TV can display deep blacks in a dark room thanks to the high native contrast ratio and local dimming support. The X900F can easily fight the glare of a bright room, and motion handling is excellent due to the fast response time and the image is crisp with very little blur and a nearly flicker-free backlight.
If you are a casual gamer, you will enjoy the low input lag, which, however, might not be low enough for competitive gaming.Just like most VA panel TVs, the X900F has narrow viewing angles and is not well-suited for a wide room where people will be watching from the side. This TV delivers decent picture quality but lacks some of the more advanced features found on the R617, like local dimming and motion interpolation. If you just want a decent 4k UHD TV and don't care about things like HDR, then the TCL S Series is a great choice. This is being gradually replaced by the TCL, which is very similar but still more expensive.
