It’s almost that time of the year that we’ve all been waiting for. No, I’m not talking about Christmas. I’m talking about the release of Doom VFR. So with the impending release of the VR version of the popular first-person shooter tomorrow, some news has come around about the 4 – 5 hour bloody demon massacre.If you somehow haven’t heard, then you should know that Doom VFR, id Software’s upcoming VR title, is launching for and this Friday, December 1. It takes some of the content of the 2016 reboot and combines it with a whole new storyline and gameplay that’s been specifically tailored for virtual reality.
All Classic Doom Map Locations
Doom (2016) features 13 playable classic maps from Doom and Doom II. Finding their location in the main story will allow you to play through the levels from the Classic Maps menu in the main menu. Classic Map - These secrets allow you to unlock a stage from the classic Doom from 1993. Classic Maps can be accessed from the main menu. Secret - The majority of the secret areas are tied with other collectibles but there are a few exceptions. A secret location can contain, e.g. A new weapon or a lot of supplies.
The game supports both the Vive’s motion controllers and the Playstation VR’s Move controllers, as well as DualShock 4 controllers and PS Aim.Now has confirmed that the game will be getting two bonus levels, with maps from the original Doom game. Both the ‘Toxic Refinery’ and ‘Nuclear Plant’ maps will be playable in the classic low res magnificence that you’ll remember from almost two decades ago. The environment will look exactly like it did way back when, with all the same items, but the enemies will be from last year’s remastered version. According to IGN, the maps can be unlocked by playing through the main campaign.So if you haven’t been feeling nostalgic around the holidays then this will certainly put you in the mood.IGN also shared 4 minutes of gameplay from the two classic maps in the upcoming game and it looks pretty sweet. Just take note that while the video only shows teleportation, free movement, or ‘dash’ movement as the studio calls it, will also be an option throughout the game. Skyrim VR just recently launched for PSVR and is seeing a lot of success. The publisher will also release so if you’re a fan of the wastelands then be on the lookout for that one too.

Did that lever cause that area to unlock? Yeah, each secret classic zone is accessed with a lever that you have to find.Keep in mind the level become available in the menu once you walk inside the classic room in the campaign (pulling the lever simply opens the door).
