Early 1960s name band snare drum. 6ply drum—no tag—wrap seam professionally repaired by Village Drum Shop in North Scituate RI. There are two very small very hard to see spots by lugs where the wrap has bubbled ever so slightly but with this finish it’s almost impossible to see or photograph.
The white Gretsch bass drum logo head includes muffle ring. New lacquer finishes include Satin Deep Cherry Burst and Walnut Glaze, along with new wrap finishes Aqua Sparkle and Black Bronze Sparkle. Al original drum except for the heads. Wires, all rods, washers, and everything else is 100% legit and born on the drum. The batter head even has the jacks drum shop logo from Boston. Gretsch drum kit in original Rosewood, sizes 14x24, 9x13, and 14x16. All drums are 6-ply with tags. Three original claws and t-handles missing from the bass drum. Some marks on the floor tom, but generally finish is in great shape with nice color. Some marks on the floor tom resonant edge were filled, drum tunes up and plays really well. Two holes in the resonant side bass drum for the factory anchor, which is missing. Some unoriginal tension rods throughout the kit.
