Windows Live Mail opened after that and when I closed it, a popup opened to say there was an issue closing WLM.

It just hangs there like it's about to open and I have to go to task manager and end the task.However, I did find that I can access WLM if I use troubleshooter to switch to Win8 mode, so all is not lost.
