2016-10-8 I can't get any sound from speakers/headphones using any of the ports at the back. But I was wondering how I could get sound to go through both the headset and speakers on my speakers system. The desktop is in Windows 10, and it's. No sound through headphones/speakers from Line-In in Sound & Audio. Hello, I have a VIA HD on board.

My issue at the moment is on my old PC, I had a B&O Play control center with my realtek HDA card, which had an option for acoustic echo cancellation. Normally this should be found in the enhancement tab, correct? The problem is, on my new PC I have Realtek HDA(SST) and it opens a seemingly different B&O Audio Control center. On there, the only option is HP Noise Cancellation.
Oct 23, 2018 #1. I recently bought a new PC for gaming. Now, Windows can use only ONE audio playback system at a time, even though. The port and then run their OWN audio output system that can play through its speaker set. I've only been having this exact problem recently; whenever I try to play audio from my laptop (HP Pavilion 15-n271ea I think, x64) with my headphones (3.5mm jack, Sony) the audio plays through my speakers and not my headphones. This would happen before (with audio playing through the headphones as well as the speakers) but would always be resolved if I restarted my laptop; no such luck now.
Where is the option for acoustic echo cancellation? I've already checked in the properties of the recording device- there is no enhancements tab there!
The echo cancellation helps cut down on the headset's microphone picking up the same audio that is being sent to the headset. Without it, when I am in a call with someone, or am recording audio, there is an awful echo with the microphone picking up what I'm hearing.
